The Mega Truck THOR is the new and innovative model that gives a change to the electric 1/10 off-road line. An evolution in terms of strength and mechanical reliability thanks to its new METAL FRAME. A VRX 4WD RTR model, equipped with an 18-turn RC-550 TURBO SPPED brushed motor (electric brushed motor), managed by a 300A ESC (eletronic speed control) speed controller, reliable and linear in power delivery with three functions (forward – reverse – brake), a 3kg directional servo ready and precise in the response of commands, all powered by a 1800mah 7.2V ni-mh rechargeable battery. The model is entirely mounted with ball bearings, on an innovative single-mold METAL frame, protected at the front by bumpers that absorb even the most violent impacts, with four Big Bored type shock absorbers (oil-adjustable), assembled on longer arms, which they allow a greater excursion able to “copy” even the most uneven terrain, thanks also to its huge 130mm x 65mm wheels WITH 12mm internal hexagon diameter.
The integral four-wheel drive transmission is a cardan shaft, while on the crown there is an adjustable flexible coupling, which not only balances the movement of the mechanical parts but completely attenuates the jerks avoiding breakages. The front and rear wheels have non-standard dimensions, 130mm X 65mm, and are mounted on 12mm sprockets (a measure that allows you to use various types of wheels and brands). Last but not least, there is the possibility to record the toe, camber and ground clearance of the front axle, while on the rear axle camber and ground clearance can be recorded.
